Hilary Oitzinger Betson

Hilary began working with Harshbarger Law Firm in January 2020 in family law and general civil practice. She now assists in special circumstances as requested by co-counsel.

Hilary now has her own limited scope law firm focused on providing advice and resolving disputes through cooperation and negotiation in family law and beyond. She has been practicing in family law for the duration of her career and is always on the search for creative and integrative approaches. Most recently, she trained as Holistic Divorce Coach and now offers divorce coaching and legal advice coaching through her law practice.

Hilary became licensed in 2008 after attending the University of Montana School of Law. She has undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Psychology, as well as Sociology, and a Master's in Public Administration.

She is trained in mediation and Collaborative Law and currently serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Montana Mediation Association.

When not helping change the face of family law, Hilary enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, Andrew, and their wild and crazy dogs, Jacki, Lucha, and Matilda. She also has a small Reiki practice located in Butte, Montana.
