Biography
Kylee focuses her practice primarily on family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, modifications, and protective order matters. She approaches each case with disciplined preparation, sound judgment, and a steady courtroom presence. While many family law matters can and should be resolved thoughtfully, Kylee prepares every case with the understanding that her clients’ rights and relationships may ultimately need to be defended in court.
Since joining the firm in August 2021, Kylee has represented clients in both negotiated resolutions and contested hearings across Montana. She is known for her thorough preparation, clear legal analysis, and composed advocacy in emotionally charged proceedings. Clients appreciate her direct communication and her ability to provide realistic guidance about risks, strategy, and likely outcomes.
A Montana native from Kalispell, Kylee understands the values and practical realities of rural communities. She is committed to providing responsive, professional representation that balances strength with discernment—advocating firmly when necessary while remaining focused on long-term stability for families.
Kylee earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wyoming, where she competed in collegiate livestock judging. She received her law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law and participated in the Family Law Clinic, gaining hands-on courtroom experience early in her legal career.
During law school and in her early practice, Kylee worked in immigration law and with Montana Legal Services in Dillon, assisting victims of domestic violence, abuse, and human trafficking with complex matters including T-visas, U-visas, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases. This experience informs her careful approach to protective orders and cases involving vulnerable parties, giving her a broader perspective on the intersecting legal challenges families sometimes face.
In addition to trial-level advocacy, Kylee has appellate experience, including drafting and arguing appeals before the Montana Supreme Court. Her appellate work reflects her commitment to careful issue preservation, strategic thinking, and protecting her clients’ interests beyond the immediate dispute.
Kylee lives with her husband, children, dogs, and horses. Outside the office, she enjoys elk hunting and backcountry travel—pursuits that reflect the resilience, preparation, and steadiness she brings to her work as an advocate.
